Antti Lovag

Antti Lovag (1920–2014) was a Hungarian-born French architect who rejected orthogonal geometry entirely in favour of organic, bubble-shaped forms. The Palais Bulles (Bubble Palace) in Théoule-sur-Mer on the French Riviera is his most famous work — a habitable sculpture of interconnected spherical rooms without a single flat surface or right angle. Lovag called himself a "habitologist" rather than an architect.
