Edgar Wisniewski (1930–2007) was a German architect and the closest collaborator of Hans Scharoun. After Scharoun's death in 1972, Wisniewski completed several of his unfinished projects, including the Berlin State Library (1978) and the Berlin Philharmonic Chamber Music Hall (1987). His stewardship ensured that Scharoun's organic, Expressionist vision was realised with fidelity.
