Ruy Athouguia

Ruy Athouguia (1917–2006) was a Portuguese architect who co-designed the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (1969) in Lisbon with Alberto Pessoa and Pedro Cid. The foundation is a Modernist cultural complex where architecture, landscape, and art are integrated into a unified whole — widely regarded as the most important building of 20th-century Portuguese architecture.
