Tecton

Tecton was a British architectural practice founded by Berthold Lubetkin in 1932, one of the first firms to champion International Modernism in Britain. The catalogue holds 1 of their works: the Penguin Pool at London Zoo, whose interlocking spiral ramps in reinforced concrete — engineered by Ove Arup — demonstrated that Modernist architecture could be both structurally inventive and publicly delightful.
