Jean Renaudie

Jean Renaudie (1925–1981) was a French architect who rejected orthogonal planning in favour of complex, interlocking geometries for social housing. The catalogue holds 1 of his works: The Stars of Ivry-sur-Seine, a Brutalist housing complex designed with Renée Gailhoustet, whose triangulated floor plans and cascading planted terraces created a radical alternative to the repetitive slab blocks of French post-war urbanism.
