Luis Laorga

Luis Laorga (1919–1990) was a Spanish architect who, together with Francisco Javier Sáenz de Oíza, designed the Sanctuary of Arantzazu (1955) in Gipuzkoa — a Modernist pilgrimage church set into the Basque mountains. The sanctuary integrates architecture, sculpture, and painting in a total work of art, with contributions from artists including Eduardo Chillida and Jorge Oteiza.
