Günther Domenig (1934–2012) was an Austrian architect whose work moved from Brutalism through Expressionism to Deconstructivism. The catalogue holds 3 of his buildings, all in Austria.
The Pädagogische Akademie (1969) in Graz is a muscular Brutalist structure. The Domenig-Haus (1979) in Vienna — also known as the Z-Haus — is an Expressionist office building with irregular projections and angled facades. His most personal work, the Steinhaus (begun 1986, worked on until his death in 2012) in Steindorf am Ossiacher See, is a Deconstructivist house-sculpture that grew over decades into a fractured concrete form jutting into the lake — part architecture, part autobiography.
