Ursulina Schüler-Witte

Ursulina Schüler-Witte (1933–2022) was a German architect who, together with her husband Ralf Schüler, designed two of Berlin's most recognisable Futurist structures. The catalogue holds 2 of their joint works.

The Internationales Congress Centrum (1979), or ICC, is an aluminium-clad megastructure of High-tech architecture. The Bierpinsel (1976) in Steglitz is a Brutalist-Futurist tower on a single stem. Schüler-Witte was an equal partner in the design of both buildings, though her contribution was historically underrecognised — a pattern common to women architects of her generation.
