Věra Machoninová

Věra Machoninová (1928–2015) was a Czech architect who, together with Vladimír Machonin, designed the Czech Embassy in Berlin — a Brutalist building that represents Czechoslovak architecture's dialogue with international Modernism during the Cold War. The Machoninovi partnership also designed the landmark Hotel and Department Store Kotva in Prague.
